Interactive Desktop Mascot App Review
Oshi Mascot is a unique desktop application designed to run a virtual mascot on your Mac system. The app itself is free, but users must purchase character DLCs separately to fully utilize its features. The first available character, Himena Nome, is a princess VTuber that brings life to your desktop with animations and interactive elements. The app's functionalities include transparent window rendering, click-through behavior, and an always-on-top option, allowing for seamless integration into your workspace.
Once the character DLC is purchased, users can enjoy various engaging features such as walking animations, petting interactions that enhance character bonds, and even a singing mode. The mascot can be moved around the screen without obstructing other applications, maintaining an unobtrusive presence. The app also includes a system tray icon for easy access to settings, enabling customization of interaction modes, volume, and size, ensuring a personalized experience.
